Our Vision
Guided by the spirituality of nonviolence, we advocate for disarmament, demilitarization, and reconciliation with justice; economic and interracial justice; human rights; and care of creation.
We strive through prayer, study, and action to be attentive to the key issues stated above and, in our response, to be conscious of their impact on the wider community.
As a membership organization, we are part of a wide community made up of individual members–including lay people, priests, women religious, bishops, deacons, families, students and more–as well as religious communities, parishes, universities, campus ministries, high schools, intentional communities, Catholic Worker Houses, local chapters, regions and others.
We seek to enable a more peaceful, just and sustainable world through the efforts of our members and in collaboration with other groups.
